My new mp3 player arrived yesterday! I was keeping my fingers crossed that it would. It was estimated to arrive today, but if that had been the case, I wouldn't have had the chance to play with it until Friday evening. The way it worked out, I was able to play on it last night...loading songs and just checking out what all it could do...
I haven't downloaded any songs online for a long time, and didn't really want to get into having to hunt for any, so I just uploaded what I already had on my computer onto my new Zen.
Sweet.
I'm totally an 80's girl. I was in high school through the first half of the 80's and in college (well a little bit anyway) for the last half. And we all know that what you listened to in those years of your life is really what defines you. *smirk*
Whatever.
lol
Here's a sampling of what I've put on my Zen so far:
Kick - Adam and the Ants (Yes, before he went solo.)
Take My Breath Away - Berlin
Whip It - Devo
Bedbugs and Ballyhoo - Echo and the Bunnymen
Epic - Faith No More
Cars - Gary Numan
Desire - Gene Loves Jezebel
Our Lips Are Sealed - GoGos
Too Shy - Kajagoogoo
I Melt With You - Modern English
Weird Science - Oingo Boingo
Funky Town - Pseudo Echo
Celebrate Youth - Rick Springfield
Shout - Tears for Fears
People Are Strange - The Doors (Not an 80's song...but I like it.)
Keep Your Hands to Yourself - Georgia Satellites
What I Like About You - The Romantics
It's My Car - The Waitresses
Recognize any of those? Some are a bit more obscure, but that's the type of stuff I listened to back then...so...
Next order of business is to rip some tracks from my CDs and load them onto this sweet thing! lol
Now I'll be able to listen to what I want to listen to at work instead of having to listen to what my coworker is tuned into on her radio.
And that one song that I really detest got played 3 times on the radio the other day!!!
Now I won't have to listen to it at all! lol
